BTU Size
The BTU size of the heater is a very important factor for heating your swimming pool. The BTU size of the Heater is matched with the surface of your area (Length x width) Use the chart below to help estimate the size of your heater. However, if you use a higher BTU size (200,000 -400,000 BTU) you will heat up your pool much faster.

By general definition, a heat pump pool heater is a CLOSED CYCLE COOLING SYSTEM REVERSE using an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser and a pressure control regulator device to heat water instead of cooling air. The heat pump uses a refrigeration cycle exactly like your refrigerator or air conditioner. It moves and absorbs heat from ambient air, amplifying the process through compression action of the compressor, and transfers it to the water in the heat exchanger.
